| Doe anybody know if the shops are open over the "other side"today as I overheard a conversation saying it was a religous holiday today?Im going over to pick up family and hoped to get a few things over there that are not available here. |

| All M & S open from 10am until 3pm. Otherwise, you are correct as it is a Religious Holiday. Regarding Alphamega, Carrefour, Superhome, may I suggest you check with each store. Try their websites for phone numbers. |

| It is not a religous holiday. It is oxy or ochi day. It commemorates when the mainland Prime Minister said "No" when Hitler ordered him to stand down the Greek army. |
