Does anyone know of any musical entertainment/karaoke in the Lapta area tonight and leading up to the weekend.

I've looked on events, but nothing in our area.

This Fri we have Andy Parish (music & Karaoke) starting at 8.30pm. Feel free to come along, we are just past the main Lapta strip and you take the turn off for the Sempati hotel.

We also have a cabaret act next Fri (from the South), details are on the events board and also on the main topic board. We look forward to seeing you.

There is a live band at Tolga's in Karsiyaka tonight. I think they start around 9.30pm.

Hi flowerfairy the band is called Heartbeat. They are young Cypriot guys playing guitar and drums (bongo type things). They play a mix of English and Turkish music, stuff like Sting and The Eagles for example. Quite mellow.

Poor singer apparantly had a sore throat at Tolgas. Back home in an hour playing OKay, still had a laugh, but just trying to show our guests the 'night life' here.

HI "The Armed Man "( mass for peace ) by Karl Jenkins is on at Bellapias Abbey on Friday evening, went to see it last night a wonderful performance by the Kyrenia chamber choir, Gloucesterchoral society, Lefkosa chamber orchestra and the state symphony orchestra. Not to be missed.

Childrens club on Saturday morning from 9am- 12.30 at Sunset, 10tl can leave the children or stay, they have film , hot dog, drink, popcorn plus great facilities and Halloween party in evening.

Karaoke at simens - karsiyaka is usually a Thursday but cancelled tonight
