Internet Explorer need to close, send Error report to Mirosoft..... why do I keep getting this message and why is my PC shutting down all the time????

Mines has been doing the same now for months. When you send the error report it comes up with another caption and in the left hand side it says more information if you click this it takes you back to Explorer. I am now using Google Chrome it is a lot faster.

Hi all

I had this problem a few weeks ago,had to get someone in. It was a virus causing the problem, had the computer cleaned off okay now. Touch Wood!!

I assume you are using Internet Explorer 8. If so thats your problem. Reverting back to version 7 or 6 is difficult without a clean reinstall. You'll just have to live with it. They aren't very compatible. Similar, but less problems, occur in Vista.

Hi the reason i am told windows keep crashing, is that the operating system is full of bugs and viruses . Last week my operating system vanished lost everthing on my computer . Had a wonderfull conversation this morning with a computer expert he is recommending using a new operating system . Google search Lynux. Free operating system bug free sweet as a nut . you can still leave windows system on your pc but use lynux when surfing on the net.

yes I just downloaded windows 8 and YES it is still shutting down and asking to send error report and do I want to install windows 8 OMG!!

I'm slightly confused here. (Yes I am aware it doesn't take a lot to do that before the snide remarks start). Do you have Internet Explorer 8 or Windows 7.

Windows 8 has yet being released to the public but is expected to be their next operating system in 2013.

As stated earlier Internet Explorer 8 and Windows XP are not good bed fellows so that's the problem. It's the way that IE8 handles Java Script (the small animated adverts that you see on web pages or when you view from places like YouTube) that seems to be the main problem

The PC guy you call depends on your location. Just make sure that all your data is backed up and get a clean reinstall and go back to Internet Explorer 7. Tell the people you reinstall Windows XP it is Internet Explorer 7 you want, not 8 otherwise they will just update to IE8 automatically.
