Karen is a star in the doggy world, she looks after 30+ stray and injured dogs all at her own expense.



She does so without informing everyone on this forum how wonderful she is whenever she takes in a stray and the cost involved, hence her good work is not widely known.

Karen is indeed a star looking after all these animals not just dogs but goats, donkeys and anything that needs a loving home. Karen helped us out when a stray bitch turned up on our complex looking very siick and neglected. After I had paid the vets bills and nursed her back to health I tried to find her a new home as I don't live in Cyprus full time. Someone put us in touch with Karen and she took in our stray. I was amazed at the work she does, without any help from anyone and without asking for any praise. Well done Karen you really are a star.

Anyone who looks after stray dogs on this island in my eyes is a star. And if they do put it on this forum it is not for the glory it is to find the dogs a new home.



Karen from Aligadi must be very fortunate in that she does not need to re-home these strays or advertise the fact. Maybe she has a list of potential homes for them and if so wish she would share the info with the people west of Girne that do this.

I than you for this info. I need 2 pointers placed together if Karen can help me I would thank every God. I know I post on everything that comes to me I do not go out looking. I have had a great sucess rate but the reason i post about them mo 1 the could have become lost no 2 the have been abondended which is true in most cases and dumped on me. no 3 well there isnt a no3. I do it to perhaps identify if they are just lost as the recent terrier reunited today but he was safe with me. No 2 if abondened I may find a home and to date have done so. I ask for no money or reward my reward is bringing them back to life and finding a home

Lilli have spoken with Karen some time ago. She is a wonderful person who cares very much about animals. When I spoke to her she didnt have electricity so that must be why she does not post on the forums. I am sure when you meet her she will be as warm and kind as she appears on the phone.
