Renewing our residency

We have the unenviable task of renewing our residency this month and, no doubt, it has changed since last year. For example I understand that we now need a copy of our marriage certificate. Could anyone please give me an up to date list of what we have to take to Girne policestation. Thanks.

magicart if you put re-newing residency at the top of the page they have the latest list of what you need, just doing my second part of picking up pink booklet at Lefkosa, and yes you do need your marriage certificate

Hi there, sorry, new to this and just acting dumb but ... does each person not apply independently for residency and if you do, why then do you have to show a marriage certificate? Just asking cos me and my wife (well, as far God is concerned) will be applying for the first time very shortly. We have not been married legally so I'm worried what we will need to do. Any advice gratefully received.

hi there,we have just been to renew our residency, we needed

2 copies of contract,2 copies of marriage ceritificate muhtar letter each,2 copies of photo on passport and 2 copies of visa stamp on passport and little pink book, if you are not married ithink the man has to write a letter saying you are living to-gether hope this helps.

Did you have to produce a copy of your bank statement and what tax stamps do we need please?



Any idea how much it costs when we go through the process in Lefkosa?

Yes you need copies of bank statements and stamp each for 6.80tl

Cost at Lefkosa is 175tl each
