"Dont know if you know but the David Haye fight is on 8th November, 3am which probably means more like 4/5am. We will be showing at The Old Mill, Ozankoy for people that are interested. However, we will only be opening IF enough people are pre-booked. We will be asking for a 20tl deposit, returnable on arrival, just as a way to ensure people actually turn up.



Bacon/sausage sandwhiches will also be available....

I think somewhere like Pine Bay in Alsancak is advertising the fight. Not sure, but could be worth checking.



As to David and THAT flag on his shorts, it does seem to have shrunk, and one would have to ask David why. I know that he is NOT allowed to get involved inpolitics -he was asked to be a figurehead in an T.C London organisation for youth, but was advised against it - understandable, but disappointing. Also at one stage there was talk of David making his permanent home here,but it could wellbe possible that will not be. It is an excellent place to train, and a safe place for his family, but, David has a long way to go inlife, and maybe TRNC is but one step along the way.



Maybe one of us should ask him, but again, David, like many in the limelight, has to be guided byhis PR agents before he makes a reply.



So, let's wait and see what trousers he willbe wearing on the night!



But one good thing about David is that he is a quiet rebel with a great sense of humour, so....

Don't forget that David is like Cassius Clay - VERY nifty on his feet, and that is his strength. The other guy can certainly knock David down IF he manages to land a punch. It could be (and I am sure David is relying on it) that David will duck and dive a bit too fast.



Of course, can David reach his opponent, or will the win have to be on points? None of us will know, I guess until the day, but I am sure David knows what he is doing.



In any case, the likeness to Cassius Clay is so strong that it inspired David to name his own son after him!
