Lulabelle. 235 views would make me think something is wrong, have you thought about that £7,000 is over priced, every thing sells at a price and yours wont be £7,000. Sorry to do a Simon Cowle on ya !!

Ruggy, perhaps you would like to view this site: http://www.kktcarabam.com/arama-sonuclari-detayli.php?marka=46&model2=1469&yil2=1909&yil1=2010&fiyat1=0&fiyat2=1000000&doviz=0&sahip=0&yakitfrm=0&vitesfrm=0&sira=abs%28i.id%29+desc&kmodel=0&submit=Hemen+Ara+!

It will give you an idea of what the asking prices for these cars is here. This one is very cheap by comparison but I doubt will go for a silly price below that which has been asked. Simon Cowle???

Sorry Lulabelle, bought a 4X4 instead as it is better for shifting wood/stones and the dog.

I see what you are saying, however you know as well as anybody how difficult it is to sell a car here. The oto galeries are full of cars that are just not selling. What a car is advertised for and how much it (eventually) sells for are two entirely different things.

Sorry Lulabelle - don't wish to sound negative but it is a buyers market out there.

Regards

Waddo, as message 12 says, asking and getting are 2 different things. and the fact there has been 235 views and "not a single tinkle" (owners words not mine) would suggest the same, im just trying to help them by pointing out what "most" people would say is obvious.

Both, also just trying to point out that the "asking price" of most cars for sale here on 44 is generally based upon what the owner paid for it and now considers to be a fair selling price along with research into the asking price of similar vehicles. In this case, it seems that the asking price is below that of cars of a similar age and condition regardless of their point of sale, i.e. private or garage!

As rightly stated, I am well aware of how difficult it is to sell a vehicle but if you have a good vehicle, that is also worth the asking price, then you should not be deterred by observations that there must be something wrong with either the vehicle or the price. Nor should the seller be forced into a sale, after a test driver has offered 3K less than the asking price - oh yes, I have had that one tried on me as well and not from local TC's either.

It is a buyers market - it always has been, no change there. Stick with it Lulabelle, there is a buyer out there.

I agree with you but people will always try to get a car for as cheap a price as they can. It all depends on how desperate the seller is - leaving TRNC etc etc. I have a friend who is selling a car at what he (and I) thought was a very reasonable price, but he hasn't received a single phone call. He has taken it to a few oto galleries and the best price that he has been offered is £3000 below his asking price. Needless to say he hasn't taken their offer as he is not desperate to sell.

I truly wish Lulabelle the best of luck with her sale.

I have looked at other web sites and spoken to car dealers here and for your car which is 2005 they would only expect to pay 3000 pounds.

Would you accept this price.

Kaymak, see msg 11 for dealer prices on this car/year/model. They may only pay you £3000.00 to take it off your hands but now go back and ask them what they will sell you one for!!!

If you can get a dealer to sell you this car/year/model in this condition for less than £9,500.00 then good luck to you and buy it from them straight away - you will have a bargain from the dealer.

If you are interested, I have a Renualt Broadway for sale at £3000.00 which meets your price - a bit older as it is a 89 model but still running well and the "Dealer" tells me it is worth £3500.00!

I feel sure that Cangar Bey will be most happy that people are now buying new cars instead of second hand ones - it will help him get rid of some of the hundreds he has in stock and can not shift because they are too expensive.

Meanwhile - in the real world - second hand car sales have taken a rise due to web based advertising and most dealers are reporting good solid sales as opposed to the odd sale generally made by referrals from other traders.

It is still a buyers market, but then it always has been in the second hand car sales game!

Well, use goggle translator or someone to translate you because this is the fact, people are not buying second hand cars from private owners unless the price of the car is reasonable.
