Heard it this morning, not dissimilar to what goes on in TRNC. Another bandit Country!

Was in Iya napa (spelling ) just over a week ago and there are letters/ notices pinned to poles warning against builders there.

People buying houses and the builders re-selling and refusing to return monies paid and the police and courts doing nothing.

So next time you have anyone from the south chuntering on here about Turkish Cypriot builders tell them to go to Iya Napa and read the notices on the poles.

What amazed me was that the police new it was illegal & made frequent trips to the development as it was being built but they never said or did anything until is was mostly finished / all plots sold.

Actually, no, it doesn't amaze me.

I wonder whether the Spanish Police and lawyers did their training here or vice versa!

Never mind, the EU are in total control of the situation.

Ah, Bill and AJ, that's how I like it! F the EU all the time and then blame the EU for not racing to save the citizens of the most reluctant and obstructive EU member..!

AJ

Got to stand up for my EU.

From EU investigation report on complaints in Spanish property market.

"the EU has the power to interrupt or delay structural and cohesion fund payments “in order to persuade a Member State to end serious breaches of the rules and principles,” another way of saying that Spain should be punished financially if it doesn’t address these problems."

The EU will follow through with this.No way can EU courts be compared to the PCO.

If NC gets even close to doing the same ,instead of the "its your own fault for being ripped off, by not having a law degree" or "what problem ,I see no problem". Then maybe we can take the p--, out of the EU courts.
