I have D-Smart and it's okay for my needs with a one off payment. All you need is the box as your two dishes are fine. Email me off board for a run down of channels, better still buy yourself their monthly TV guide or Google them instead and you'll get a list of programs. Richard

Msg 3 I bought mine second hand (Gold Master) two years ago for £80 so double that for a new one now. Most if not all Satellite shops carry the box but vary in price especially if you need dish installation. Look in the Buzz Telephone directory and then spend half a day in Girne scouting around the different shops playing one off against the other. Richard

I have only one dish - Can you please tell me which satellite it should be pointed at to get most English speaking channels. Blomberg installed mine, they are about 100 metres past Hur Deniz (opposite side of road) in Girne heading towards Karacum. Dont know cost as it was part of a package with TV.

We have had d-smart for the last 2 years. Installed by Hay Pem (opposite Green Garage) with one dish. It's enough for us - four movie channels, comedy channel, lots of American drama/sit com type stuff (Desperate Housewives, Lost, CSI, Law & Order, etc, etc), Discovery Channels, Animal Planet, CNN Europe, Euro Sport, plus lots more.

Hi Terry, I'm really sorry but I cannot remember how much it cost initially as I have had it for over 2 years now. I think it was around £200 for the dish, box and installation. We have just renewed our yearly subscription for the full package and it was 350TL. This gives all the movie channels, Discovery channels, CNBC-e, TNT, sport, etc. You can have cinema plus sport for 250TL, the family package plus sport for 300TL and then everything for 350TL. It is completely reliable and we have not had one single day when we have lost the signal or had any problems. The man at Hay-pem speaks very good English, is very helpful and will sort everything out for you. Jo
