What is the cheapest method? Downstairs is warmish but upstairs gets like an ice box and its hard to carry gas upstairs. I dont want an enormous electric bill as i am an o a p well not old! but any ideas would be welcome.

I know you said you are upstairs, but I feel sure if you carried the empty gas fire upstairs and when you have your next bottles delivered they would take the gas bottle upstairs for you they are very obliging
