| Hi all, Thinking of opening an account with creditwest, does anybody know about their security checks when giving them instructions by e-mail ? do they just ask you to confirm your password ? or are there any other checks that they do to insure that you are who you say you are ? Also has anyone had problems with their accounts regarding e-mail transactions ? Many Thanks in advance. |

You just need your passport.
I find them an excellent bank to deal with.
One who advertises here very regularly has not bothered to reply to 3 e-mails in about a year so obviously doesnt need the business
Iktisat also good.

Thanks for reply but was interested in the security of internet banking with Creditwest . Is it just a password that they ask for ? how secure is this bearing in mind that they ask clients to sign a disclaimer. |

They give you a password which is computer generated and as in the UK not seen by staff. |
