Katie B. no doubt about it. She can have the audience spellbound then up and dancing - a true entertainer.

Ive got to agree with 17.

They are all different, granted some better than others, but does it really matter.

Depends on your taste.

Personally, the guy last night at JK's would be very hard to match with whats around here.

But hey!! thats my call.

Bet the acts up here are glad hes from the South

The problem with 99% of acts here is that they "impersonate their idols"

Come on guys, for gods sake by all means sing the songs, but do they have to try to dress /look like them and sound like them. Very old hat i think.

It was refreshing to see that guy last night doing his own style, i hope there were other acts watching him!!.

If you dont believe me ask Christine (Hot Nursey chick)

P.S, Chris, we did meet last night!!

"Old Hat", perhaps on the south but not here. I agree with you about tribute acts that try and sound and look like someone and do it very badly, I can't think of any out here at the moment that are impersonators and I have lived here for many years, apart from Danny Fisher and he now lives on the south. Unfortunately the old music is the best and personally speaking I am fed up with kareoke everywhere, people want to get dressed up and be entertained by professionals. Its horses for courses.

My vote goes to Gazza at the Fez.....He is a bookie by trade and has not had any singing/entertaining training at all as far as I am aware. The shows that he and Kelvin put on this last summer were fantastic and a were great fun nights! As for female entertainers, my vote goes to gazza as well.....Was he trying to emulate Shirley Bassey or was he just dressing up as a barmaid from Esentepe way....Only he knows I suppose!!!! Looking forward to more fun nights next summer.....

As you know I dont get out but I have been to the Fez a couple of times and found the entertainment there fantastic. Gazza is a showman in my mind. xI think alll the entertainers here deserve a big pat on the back anyway.

The question said entertainer, so the answer must be Gazza, he has charisma and puts alot of thought and effort into his shows. Shame he wont play anywhere other than The Fez.

Parky, I have to agree with you. Gazza gives by far the best entertainment that I have seen over there. As for playing anywhere else, why would he!!!!

Over the last twenty years or so we have been entertained by a range of performers some very good some only just better than no live entertainment at all.

My Wife and I have enjoyed all of the artists listed on the previous posts and would agree our evening would be poorer without their contribution.

The best entertainer we have experienced was in fact a lady from the audience at a Danny Fisher show one Sunday at Seles. She was invited to sing and was so good she took over for the rest of the evening as Danny was too embarrassed to follow Her!! I often wondered if Ali paid Danny for that night in full!!!!

Our favourite entertainer is Brian Delaney who is by far the most naturally gifted of any of those artists listed.

I only wish he would "freshen up " his act a bit, it would improve the enjoyment for his audience and also alleviate some of the inevitable complacency that must creep in when playing to largely the same audience week after week and year after year.
