Anyone know how to stop the wood knot resin from 'grinning' through the paint on internal door frames, please? In UK I would use knotting compound, but cannot find similar product out here.

i dont know anything thatll seal it except for knotting,cant you get someone thats going over to nc on the forum to bring you a small bottle over in their luggage?

You can buy knotting in Tayf (Marshalls) in Karaoglanoglu but you have to sand down to bare wood to apply it
