If you have any problems finding the link to download the latest version of 'AVG Free', it's here: -

After you select your preferred language, and 'free version', it will then proceed to download the installation files - it took me about 20 minutes using Extend '512' wireless connection...

I've just downloaded it after AVG told me my 8.5 version is now defunct and won't update any longer.

If you have online banking with HSBC in the uk you can get a free 1 year download with McAfee security which is very good. I am on my second year with them and all free.

Just go to the HSBC online website and click on the link that says "Free McAfee security download" Not sure if it takes you to another site but it works ok.
