Unfortunately there are a few posters on here that just want to have a ruck. It is no concern of yours. And at least you have had one relevant reply.

Used to stay at the Holiday Inn, Nicosia every year on Christmas Eve and dine in the Vivere Retaurant Xmas Eve and also Xmas Day. The food is really authentic Italian, but they do traditional Turkey if required. Stopped doing this last year when enquired about prices and found they had double due to the Euro. But have to say it really is something special.

My posting was deleted, and all I asked was. if you hate this stupid website why do you read it?

And secondly why post on it? ( or words to that effect) no insults or swearing'

I was not looking for a ruck, just couldn,t understand why someone who hates it would bother with it.

A.J. always seems like a very fair moderator, but the comment in message 7, "its no concern of yours" is uncalled for.

Supermaids, you can't be very busy with 58 posts in 6 days! How is business anyway?

The only good places I have ever found to eat in the south are in paphos and coral bay when I lived there, every where else seems to be burger and chips or food of that ilk.

I must say that there are some very good restaurants in and around S Nicosia. It really is worth trying one of the local tavernas, delicious pork kebabs

AJ is quite right you must not question the wisdom of officer Dibble or the great Poo Bah.

They know best.
