Thanks to those who looked up the orchids. The site is getting plenty of visitors around the world so at least it is bringing some good publicity to North cyprus

Anyone managed successful cultivation at home (Cyprus) from proper sourced Orchid plants? Did anyone participate in any of the walks or tours that were offered, earlier on this thread? Sir Skogs

Thank you for this information, niftyduo! I just sent the URL to a friend of mine in Holland, who will visit Northern Cyprus because of the orchids. I only hope he picked the right time of the year: end of March.

lovingcyprus I agree with your comments about Tony and Maureen, have been on one of their walks and the whole day is very enjoyable with lunch and afternoon tea thrown in. Not only do you get to see rare orchids but you get a tour of their local village as well. Highly recommended. AJ

We are running a tour for Peten Tours in March : http://www.petentour.com/#/treasure-trove-of-orchids-and-wild-flowers-in-northern-cyprus/ It is based on Mercure Hotel so if anybody in NC wants to join, they will get a price less air fare. The tours kick off at 9.00am each morning and visit a different habitat each day and, if the season is right, we expect to find most of the orchids shown on the our website. One day is spent with Maureen & Tony as a private tour. If anybody wants more info just email us on brileen14@tiscali.co.uk
