According to a moderator, Izzet, the owner of this site, is financially rewarded by the amount of activity that is generated by the amount of posters, obviously gained through advertisers. Should he be in the 'black' would it not be an ingenuous act for him to organise a Christmas 'do' for the members that are in TRNC? The 'bun' fights would certainly be an after party talking point!

What is wrong with informing people that 44 is a commercial operation.

That the reason you cant resign and have your name removed is because it reduces the number of people that Izzet can illustrate to his clients that a re members.

That is not sniping as you you unequivocally put it but the statement of facts.

i think you will find that i add more in advice than i do in giving you a hard time.

I'm sure the majority of people on here don't have a problem with Izzet receiving an income from running this site. He is the one who set the site up and maintains it, why shouldn't he earn something from it?

I do not agree with hippo, there have been many adverse posts about compnies that advertise here and they have not been removed. However, Izzet, as owner of this board, iss personaally responsible for libel, especailly if the author of the post hides behind internet anonimity.

Certainly none of those that have been banned in the past. Maybe only those that have 5 stars and or maybe those that support the board in promoting the TRNC. Then there are others that would like to bring along their 'friends' i.e. those that have been banned permanently and would, as they have done in the past, create havoc.

So taking into account the above, would it just be qualifying members without partners or should he just go for a free for all?

If anyone thinks this is possible to set up then you are living in cloud cuckoo land.
