Jamie's Buffet on the opening day was really excellent, I am sure that his full menu will also be just as good. Gulcan prepared some Turkish cuisine which was fabulous, I can't wait to try the full menu. Good luck to all the staff at Zeki's

if the opening night is anything to go on, it was absolutely lovely. Had lunch yesterday, delicious. The staff also are very attentive. If you have children, th play area is growing by the day, and it's safe.

How dissapointing to read the message from Lilli, if we were all as vindictive in our postings her own ability fronting the house would have featured all too often for all the wrong reasons. Doug

Dougskud I am sure that Lilli never meant to be vindictive in her posting. I have read it and all I see is her stating a fact.

Zeki's bar is about 100yds past the third lapta turnoff, if you're coming from the Alsancak direction. it's very easy to spot, you'll notice the colourful play area, and it has a lovely car park in front.

Doug I was not being vindictive. All I said he worked in the kitchen as that was where his abities lay. I went to see him there last monday to wish him all the best. As the real firestarter said she would never post again as someone stole her identy I wondered to whom I answered.

Had a great time in Zeki's. Went into Stubble In again, but now one spoke or acknowledge us at all. we left and went to Zeki's and we received a great greeting - made to feel welcome, excellent service from very friendly staff. All facilites not available then, but if is coming on great now - Massive car park always got car's in it. Good Luck Zeki's - we will definately be back

Reference posting no.19. from Lilli I once heard Bob Monkhouse crack the following joke at an awards evening. " If you can fake sincerity you have got it made"!!!!!!!!!!!!! regards Doug PS for the record I have never met James but from these postings it would suggest he has a fine future ahead.

Ref message 22. Doug okay you have never met James Have YOU ever met Lilli? Because believe me she does not FAKE sincerity, she is kind, helpful and generous to a fault and always ready to come to someone's aid. If it had not been for her and Guido my lounge would have been full of medical equipment which they now store for me for nothing. Chris

Why has this thread about Zeki's restuarant been turned into another advertisement for Guidos and to a lesser extent Ruth and Tony's restuarant, which is called either the Stumble Inn or the Filling Station. I am sick and tired of Guidos being rammed down my throat about every one in ten postings on this board, for which I do not blame Lilli or Guido. About 3 years ago when Ruth and Tony had the Farmhouse, we had the same problem as msg 16 and we have never again patronised them. They obviously did not want our custom. I am sorry to have committed the same sin as others by going off thread but I had to back my paragraph one and deplore the way that other restaurants were brought in when the thread defined Zeki's and was thus detracting to him.

Just to answer the question asked earlier about where Zeki's bar and restaurant is. We are on the main road heading from Alsancak to Karsiayka, keep going past the "Lapta Strip". Go past the turning to Lapta. You will then see Flippers on your left and also a turning to Hotel Semapti on your right. Keep going on the main road and you will see quite a large turning to Lapta on your left. Stay on the main road and you will see us 50 yards on the left hand side. Look out for a new building with a big car park out the front and childrens play area on the side. The bar is open every day from 12 noon to 12pm and the restaurant is open from 12 noon until 9.00pm every day. We are offering a delicious selection of snacks and full meals, which we would recoomend you come and try. Alternatively why not come and have a drink with us you will be guaranteed a warm welcome. We look seeing you. x

Mess 27 , i have to agree, 'H' and Nicky have spent loads of money, time and effort on this project, we are just trying to advertise, promote......call it what you like... as we all did for Lilli and Guido................, Guido's already have their 'regulars', now it's 'H' and Nicky's time. You really must give them a try, even if you buy a drink and have a look at the decor, a bit classy!!!!!
