If you haven't yet downloaded the free Google Earth, you must! Among the recent upgrades are a 'history' function. Zoom in to where you want and click on the 'clock' in the top toolbar, use the slider bar, see what it was like back in 2003! It also gives you exact dates of the images! My (exchange) property didn't exist, it was rocky scrubland, no buildings, nothing. Surely not of any value to a GC. ;-) I've printed off an image for any future use! 'Ocean' tool, bottom left, allows you to see seabed depths and images of wrecks and dives, including Submarine, ship and aircraft wrecks. Look to the SW of Cyprus to see the oldest known shipwreck, 2000+ yrs old, still with it's cargo of Amphoras visible. TBV in 2003? Farmland! The Girne Bypass progress? Gecitkale airport in 2003? 3 jets on tarmac, carparks full (you can count the cars). In 2008, deserted! You can log your own routes, say, Pia Bella to St Hilarion, and save them. Play, enjoy! Rob

Lilli Did you know you can, for free, add a photo and a description of you Restaurant, for the world to see! You can also add customer comments. So many people are always asking where exactly is 'X, Y, or Z'. Now they could see exactly where it is. Surely many other businesses in NC could gain from such inclusion and free publicity. Lot's of fun photo's already on there, (too many for the Harbour), but great fun to look at them if you have the time. Rob

I think all those property developer photos/ads have ruined Google Earth.
