The first death due to Swine flu in the TRNC has been announced on the news tonight.

The 58yr old victim was from Pinabasi.

this was our muhtar kamil.

i have known this guy for 6 years and he was the nicest guy you could meet.

he was a decent honest man and a true cypriot. he has always been so kind to us and we couldn't have wanted a better muhtar, neighbour or friend.

our condolences to his family our thoughts are with them, as are the thoughts of the whole village.

god bless him.
