I quite fancy a nice slice or 2 of roast pork tomorrow. Where's the place to go? and would a booking for 2 people be necessary?

Roast pork is on the menu at Tolga's in Karsiyaka tomorrow. Best to book but you will probably be ok for just 2. You can find the number in the Events section under tomorrow's date.

I'm doing my own tomorrow. Just bought some topside of beef. So will be doing that with yorkshires, loads of veg and lashings of beef gravy. (Not forgetting the horseradish ;-) Yum. Mouths watering thinking about it.

We have just had the best Sunday lunch since living here. That is 7 years. The Filling Station (ex Stumble Inn ) . We were asked how we would like the beef and asked for rare and got rare, the pork was soft and succulent, the vegetables which were served seperately were well cooked and seasoned. All in all a very pleasant few hours.

LaptaMike, would those be Auntie Bessie's Yorkshire puddings or have you learnt how to cook them yourself yet? See you Tuesday for backgammon!

Thanks Liz ... I am even more confused! Which one did I meet .... MikeLapta or LaptaMike? Thought it was very strange that he was asking about Aunt Bessie's in one post and claiming to make his own in another. Must look at the names more carefully next time..... sorry!
