How to get a UK phone number using VOIP companies?

A question for experts,maybe Mark can help on this?

Is it possible to get a UK landline phone number using a VOIP company from Cyprus? (such as Skype)

I need this because my family watching X Factor want to vote,but the phone number on screen does not work from here even if we put the international code first.



They are insisting a lot,so if there is a possible solution they would be happy.

i phone uk land line all the time from here using Skype, don't put code in just select uk on dialling type number in away you go

You can buy a UK phone number from Skype in the area you came from this way friends and family can phone you at local rates and vice versa.

No actually it´s the opposite.

They are furious because last week their favourite contestant was eliminated and they could not vote.

This is why they are so insisting on me to find a way to vote.

Please help anyone who can!

But i went to Skype website and they say the voting number for x factor is not supported...
