Only buy a completed property. Why put yourself through the stress of buying off plan? This is a risky thing to do in today's market.



Lots of resales and what you see is what you get, including title deeds!

You made the right choice with Sevilla, I am doing the same off plan with Sinan also. The build quality is excellent and the company very professional.



For Gods sake don't take any notice of the doom merchants on this forum, you found the right ticket with Sevilla, just keep you good judgement going, be bold and in 18 months you will be the one who is laughing.

Or crying as far too many others have done 'not taking any notice of the doom merchants'. I wish I had taken notice.

Obviously havn't done much research on this forum.

I think it would be a grave mistake to discount the so called 'doom and gloom' merchants. I have met a number of people who have found themselves with half built properties with little prospect of them being completed, houses with no deeds, property that unbeknown to them have mortgages placed on them by unscrupulous developers etc etc etc. This forum is littered with tales of broken promises/contracts and almost invariably end up in heartache, stress and significant financial loss.

Whilst I would not say do not buy here, do not be taken in by the promises of smooth talking estate agents and developers and ensure that you talk to the likes of the HBPG and really do your homework before committing to a purchase.

so long as you can differentiate between a doom and gloom merchant and someone who is only trying to help you with the benefit of their knowledge. There is no way I would buy off plan again particularly with the number of completed re-sales available. If they seem to cost a little more you have to remember all the taxes that have gone into them which you will have to pay in addition to the purchase price with off plan.

I only have kocan gloom left but it has been a hard 4 years which would have been unecessary with a completed property..

I suggest you drive a little further east to the Sevillas site at Tatlisu and ask the owners there what they think.

We nearly bought on this site and thank our lucky stars every time we visit that we saw something else we liked better. I wouldn't say that this purchase has been palin sailing but at least we have electric and water, sewers and tarmaced roads. I suggest you listen to the moaners and groaners and doom merchants before you part with your hard earned cash. Buy a resale so much easier.

I think breezyboy got this in context. Yes there are pitfalls and risks, (always is in any transactions) but I would expect Measey to have done his homework to mitigate the issues involved. What is the point of insulting his intelligence with sweeping negative generalisations?



Do you know the construction company involved? Its not fair to tar everyone with the same brush coz life is not all black and white. Damnation and credit only where its due - do you agree?

sorry guys i havent replied yet just got in from work. ask the people at tatlisu how much they paid for their villas, and also ask them how many still havent paid the outstanding balance.

if seville was such a bad company ,why has he let everyone move in when he could easy of said no one can move in until they have paid. those villas were a bargain price, see how much the villas on the other side of the road sold for. more than sinans and not as good.

is their anyone out there who sinan has run off with their money ???? .

I agree with Hectors advice, but he is not telling you not to buy .Its only advice ,you dont have to go to Pia Bella nor do you have to take their advice ,which will be the same -beware of offplan.





I would recommend my builder, I am very happy with what I got,but would not recommend offplan for the simple reason that I would not wish to wait 5 years for ownership .





I wouldnt take notice of people who tell you this or that offplan is great unless they have stayed in it and have the title deeds,otherwise its like recommending a restaurant because the menu is good and the tables are well s
