=> Smart advise, Richard! (not). Most probably you also download and install some malware and one day you'll be very, very sorry. Never mess with your Operating System - it's a basic rule. I.e. when you know what you're doing...

Do you know if the dealerships hare are comparable in price to other countries.

I can probably pick one up in Dubai or Qatar which although are elevated prices to the states they are not too bad however if the prices in NC are about the same then I would imagine warranty situation would be better.

Tootie, think about the advise you get in this thread. Macs are cheaper in the States: so are Japanese cars in Japan. If you buy from the Internet and have to import your Mac you will have to meet Customs in TRNC.

Modern Macs (Intel) run the superior Mac Operating System AND with ease several Windows versions. Why would you like or need that? Try to build a website: you must check how the site will look on both platforms. Problems galore to solve. Want to play games: many more games available for PC than for Mac (which has always been a tool for serious users). Mac offers the best of two worlds - which a PC does not. And there's more. download win7 - Ultimate or whatever - from the official windows website. install it and just dont use a serial, this will make the system rum for 30 days as a test version. Then you download all kind of updates - language packs etc.. after this you can run a nice little programme, its 100% free of viruses - if your virus programme tells you there is a virus in it, this is just because most of anti virus programmers working together with windows and blocking these "cracks" But, you can be sure, this is CLEAN!!!!

And it will make you Win7 original all done for nothing. Sorry gates, but I think you have earned more than enough.. Time to share... And no worries, as long as TRNC in not recognised there is no interpol..
