HUNDREDS of students took part in islandwide protest demonstrations yesterday to mark the anniversary of the declaration of independence of the ‘Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus’ on November 15, 1983.

After years of separation and indoctrination - sure there are some 'lunatics'.. no-one ( sane) is expecting you to live together in the near future.... but they ARE expecting / hoping you can work something out ..

but since you enjoy crowing that you know much more about the greek cypriots than I do,

perhaps you can also explain their strategy better than I ever could?



or maybe, since you refer to "lunatics" above,

you do not really believe such behaviour is can be explained rationally



in the latter case (a prescription of) counter-indoctrination would be crying into the wind, as it were
