Broadband in Esentepe

Hi all,



Can anyone please advise me who is the best and most reliable Broadband provider for the Esentepe area?



What would the costs and the contractrual terms involve?

Hi Wyn

I've just moved over to Nethouse as their base station is at the power station but I know there is a base station located on the hotel roof. If you can see the Hotel then I suggest you have a word with Dee as she is using this provider. If you can't see the hotel from your house then go woth Nethouse as they are good. They charge 50tl for installation and they want 3 months in advance. Their costs are:

Speed (1mth) (3mths) (6mths) (12mths)

256 65tl, 185 360tl 700tl

512 80 230 450 870

1024 95 275 500 960

2048 140 400 730 1350

Average usage I'd say go for the lower speed. If you intend to watch television or movies then you'll need at least the 1mb.

sorry it hasn't printed out very well. I'll explain. The 256, 512, 1024 and 2048 are the speeds.

the figures following on each line are the costs per month in TL for either 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and 1 year.

There are couple of ISP's in Esentepe, like nethouse, sunny cyprus, emotions etc.



I recommend you call bora the emotions guy. He speaks english and quite good in his work.

I've just moved over to Nethouse from Sunny Cyprus as their base station is too far from Esentepe to get a good signal. They recently spent ages at my house trying to improve things but agreed we are too far out to get a good connection.

Nethouse has their base station near the power station so its good.

I understand Bortec have theirs on the Hotel which would be good for Wyn as his house is about level, or just below, the hotel. Unfortunatley we can't see the hotel from our house so it wouldn't be any good for us.
