I know that sterling can be drawn from the machine with a Nationwide card but is it available with other UK bank cards.

i only have a UK HSBC card and I draw out there all the time, and my Son used it yesterday with his Nation wide card

We draw sterling out with a UK maestro card, that's when they have sterling in the machine nowadays.

I think that any debit/credit card that is part of the Visa processing system should allow you to make withdrawals from the HSBC cash machines. It is always best to inform your bank/credit card company of any possible usage abroad by you as sometimes they have been known to block accounts when a card is used outside of its country of issue.

TEB Bank also issue Sterling, Euros and TL. They are a couple of shops down from The Pound Shop. Most cards accepted.
