| I was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma (Low grade/indolent) ten years ago and moved here nearly six years ago. Over time the disease has become more 'interesting' especially in the last two and a half years. Currently I receive my treatment - as required - in a brilliant nhs hospital in the UK. I understand that oncology/haematology treatment is improving here and would be interested to hear of anyone's experience of it. It also might be useful for others in the same boat as me to get together occasionally to share our experiences and possibly be able to help each other. I've been in remission for just over two years now and am waiting for the next relapse. I've always been told there are only two absolute certainties in this life; taxation and death....you can add inevitable relapse to my particular condition. |
