Just like to say a big thank you from the Children in Need Foundation to all those cyprus44 members who attended either the Ball on Friday 4th or the Supper Club event last night. Between the two events we raised 22,000TL towards equiping the Esentepe Primary School with 40 new modular desk/chair units and the provision of a 17 seater minibus for the social services home in Lefkosa. Without the support of the 490 people who attended the events we could not have achieved this. We will keep the forum advised of future events and the atists being featured, all of whom can be reviewed online via their UK websites.

Carrier did we ever. I loved every minute and I know the hard work to produce this event. Alan Becks was terrific. I was in raptures most of the time but espically when he sang littl old wine drinker. He was great wit the other golden oldies also. The organisors deserve such a hugh pat on the back to bring quality and get us all together. Couldnt beleive how many people I know. (dont get out). I had one of the best nights ever, even ended up singing Old fasioned Milionaire with Babs and Jeff. As i used to say in Cardiff I ad a ball xxxxx The children will now be sat at desks and a minibus WOW xxxxxx. Lawerence reminds me of someone I worked with when I arranged Variety Club events. He will get there along with Delia Mally Ellie etc xxxxxxxxxxx

Also forgot to thank everyone again who donated raffle prizes for the evening, Lilli and Guido, wonderful hamper, Elif & Elif for a full pamper day for women, the Barber Club, a mans pamper day, The Korinuem Golf Club for golf package, Bells food for case of wine (12) and Hayl from the Fez for the 26" LCD TV. By the way a lovely gesture by Mr Brian Raymond for handing the TV he won over to the Social Services Home in Lefkosa that we are supporting.
