=> Thank you! I'm flattered. I can only hope to be remembered as long as he is (while most members here will be forgotten when they're two days dead). And! Von Ranke was educated at one of the most famous schools of his time, where later my great hero Friedriech Nietszche was educated: the "Gymnasium of Schulpforta". I'm modestly walking in their shadow.

I am obviously biased, but yes, my best friend Nurseawful deserves an award. I also must praise her long suffering husband who, tho at times, has the Victor Meldrum moments also does his bit to help. There are so many worthy characters on the Forum who have made me laugh, cry, get angry and taken me through all the emotions known to man/woman.

Lilli, Smithy, for their caring and loving ways

Daisy Duke for so many things - spiders etc. and just being Daisy.

Richard and DC for being the dueling pair who I have been proud at one time or another managed to upset slightly ( I have never responded to their replies fear I would have lost the battle.)

Simbas, just as an administrator think she is great. (no disrespect to the others).

Not enough room to go on, but just thanks to all who have helped me through a difficult year. Love you all and hopefully will meet up with you next time I manage to come back to my adopted home. XX

yEA, BUT WHAT ARE THE PRIZES? Is someone going to get some cups engraved, or at the very least a Certificate which can be framed and handed on to grandchildren (or not!), and maybe Izzet should put on his thinking cap of where these are to be presented. Can we look forward to a grand dinner or a snack at the localk 'Fag and Ash Cafe' . Face to face confrontation of some of the winners could bring about some surprising reactions.
