I've heard rumours recently that you can get a part-time job,if you work less than 16hours.

Anyone know if this is true,or where I can get the official answer

I asked my solicitor 2 years ago. He didn't know offhand but found out for me. The answer then was that if you are 65+ then you can work 10 hours without a work permit. Also I remember reading something about this in Cyprus Today about 1 year ago.

But maybe the rules have changed.

All employment is part time in TRNC, no one knows the meaning of 'full time', it doesn't exist in the Turkish language!
