Hi,

need some quotes for a concrete base for a 4.2 sky dish. Already have one which tectan put down which is now sinking!! Need a HONEST, RELIABLE, TRUSTWORTHY, person or company who can lay one at a reasonable cost. Not looking for any favours, will pay the going rate for a Good job. Its costing me a small fortune to keep having my dish re alligned every time the base moves.

Speak with Ulus. 05338524967 He has a garden supplies company and two shops one of them is next to Mambo. He also does small building work. His company has just relaid terrace tiles around my pool with reinforced concrete. Super job.... most of all not expensive and quick.

Oh dear, ours was done properly then I think, we did watch it go in and it looked ok, we have had a minor problem which meant a slight adjustment to the dish and the Iceman came up straight away to do it.

Hope you get yours sorted soon Stockie.

It is essential that concrete bases are made of qood quality reinforced concrete

The base for a 4.2m needs to be at least 2.5m sq and 40cm deep.. if one cam make it 3m square then 30 cm is sufficient.

If the land in on a slope or is on clay based soil, one can get movement..

Contrary to a post - by someone who SHOULD know better - no matter HOW good the original set up of the dish .. if the base moves .. OF COURSE the signal will be affected.

Better to call a technician who understands WHY this has happened me thinks....
