The Director of the Charity 'Hop, Skip & Jump' an organisation which has a free daily care centre for mentally and physically handicap children, which approximately has a yearly through put of about 13,000 individuals, told me today that an application to 'C i N' for a £45K grant was rejected on the basis that it was too small an amount to be considered! Disgraceful!

The Director is a friend of mine and the charity is South Gloucester/Bristol based and can be found on the web for anyone wanting to know more.

This seems such a shame. Makes you wonder just how much of the money raised is used in needy causes in the UK. He should make it public knowledge in the regional papers first and hopefully it will extend to the nationals.
