I wonder if anyone knows of a local locksmiths. I only have one key to the main lock on our apartment (4 of the secondary lock oddly) - anyhow too risky for me as its top floor and no other way in if we get locked out.

I need to either change the lock or get some keys cut.

Does anyone know of a local company.

Thanks

if you go down Girne High Street from the big TV, Tin Pan alley is the first street on your left, there is a sort of little mall before thenon the left so its after that. 1001 is a shop in the 2nd street on your left, its on the right passed a bank.

Just a reminder.

If anyone has ended up with only 1 or 2 sets of keys after handover of their property then forget about getting extras cut. You should be changing your locks because normally there are 3/4 sets of keys per lock and if you do not have them then somebody else does.

here are directions if anyone is interested. From main Lapta, Girne road take the Rose Gardens turning. Carry on to end of road and turn right, he's about 100yards on right. Its a yapi market. Can't miss him, has the big white wood burning ovens outside at the side (if anyones interested by the way, he charges 400TL for a small oven, 500TL for medium and 600TL for big) .

The hardware Store next to Lapta Post Office also cuts keys.
