Yes does seem expensive for TRNC, we are going to Raymond Blancs Brasserie £23.50 for three courses and bloody good food..... In the 'expensive' UK

sienna - sorry to go slightly off-thread here, but can I ask whether you are talking about Christmas day? The reason I ask is that we looked into going out for Christmas day lunch here in Bury St Edmunds, and found the average price to around £50.00. Your meal certainly sounds excellent value for money (even if it's not for Christmas day)

Thanks.

I lived and worked in B.S.E. for several years and it has no shortage of very good eateries.

Also, as I'm sure you know, there is no shortage of money there and in the surrounding villages. A little bit different to here.

exnavalperson - you are absolutely right. Where did you work during your time in BSE?

exnavalperson - thank you for your reply. We have lived up here for almost 10 years but cannot place Watsons - are they still going?

I take your point about the fact that there are many places to eat here in BSE and I must agree that there is a lot of money in this neck of the woods (not, unfortunately, in our house) and this is reflected in the prices, particularly in restaurants.
