Depends how much you want to spend. They are quite expensive in TRNC - I assume you are in TRNC now? When you say second hand, are you looking just for the handset and the charger or are you after one with all the relevant computer sotware etc?

you can get it unblocked no problems in girne (or in uk before you go ?).



all roads that lead down from main street to harbour area have phone shops on ,they all unblock or want to buy it off you .they also sell sims .



i bought one last summer was 20ytl if i recall then i went on pay as you go ,allthough i dont think thats the cheapest method it just suited me to come back and forward with .

there is a lot of mobilephone store in Girne.If you want a brand new one you can get 300ytl for nokia. U600 Samsung is nice as well which is 400ytl. And if u want second hand just drop by there you can choose nice and cheaper one.

I just bought an LG Rhino for £19.98 at Tesco Direct. It has Bluetooth, mp3 player, radio, video, camera, WAP etc and £10 of talktime included. To unlock it cost £3.99 online.



The bad news it wasa one off offer with £14 off one day last week, its back up to £33.98 with £10 talktime included.

You can unlock for free using this site I have used it several times. Just follow instructions carefully when unlocking and then you just bring your passport along with phone to supermarket or phone shop and you can buy a Turkish Sim card with free credit and then you just top up as normal. Is much cheaper than using your own mobile phone from home.
