The Area Bar will be re-opening on Saturday, 5.00pm



Opening times will be:



Tues-Thur 5.00pm till late

Fridat, Saturday and Sunday 12.00 midday till late

Monday - Closed

Going from Alsancak to Lapta. The turning on the left, known as the first Lapta turning, just before the Lapta strip. It is signposted to the Aqua Park and Aeria bar. Go up there for about 200mts and then turn right, sign posted Aeria bar and the bar is about 100mts on the right.

My wife, Rose, has leased the bar from Metin.



Some of you might have met her at Belvu Rentacar or at Park Lane.



She tried to register here to tell you about it but only having a hotmail account was rejected.

=> From 5 pm? Too late. Almost the same opening hour as last time when the nice Turkish Cypriot Metin ran the Aeria Bar. It didn't work and it won't work under new 'management' either. And also: the bar is bl**dy cold.

As John said the opening hours will be:



Monday - Closed

Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 5.00pm till late

Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12.00 midday till late



If I find I need to change the opening times in response to customer's requests, of course, I will. In the meantime with a family to look after and Christmas coming you will understand.



I'm sorry that you found the bar cold previously. I willl, of course, be taking steps to ensure that it is always warm.

RE msg 1: The Aeria Bar has a good potential. The bar itself is OK, the toilets are superb (if I remember well) and in front of the open hearth it was nice to sit. If you keep the place warm and the music is not too loud - people won't be disappointed. Opening times of course are your decision. We didn't find them convenient, but they may change, who knows..? So, good luck!
