Any ideas anyone? I looked with the jams but couldn't find any. It's not in the dictionary - anyone any idea what to ask for in Turkish?

My tip - Erdener for Turkey breasts (around 5 TL - better than chicken!!)

Bells is a bloomin rip-off. I bought some candied peel there the other day for 3TL then went to Illeli and it was only 1.50TL!

Joanjelly

Yes Bells is expensive, thought as it is only once a year. I bought some ham from there and it was worth paying a bit more for non-plastic ham. Also sirloin steaks that melts in the mouth, 9tl for 5 big slices of yorkshire ham, and 7.50tl for steak. yummy.......

mindy you havent come to me yet. Ask anyone who buys our hams. Bells have to import thier products and they provide iceland foods they have to pay a premium. We bake our own. parma etc we have to import. Stilton has almost sold out now. Have a great break in UK . I did. I could not wait for real toast with the butter dripping. Had great meals as everybody asked what I wanted. Irish stew,No 1 steak and kidney pudding, all the comfort foods I could think off. I think I have put on a stone at least. Now got to work it off. Enjoy your time xxxxxxxxxxxx
