So the talks, the compromise, the maybe's but what would happen if this country (TRNC) joined the Christian block would we have streets of empty shops whose stock had been destroyed as counterfeit for breaching the law's of the EU, would we be able to buy quality products endorsed by the EU and Worldwide regulators that do not catch on fire or contain lead or parts that children can chock on, would the citizens no longer be cheated out of their money for sub standard goods and be prepared to part with their hard earnt cash for reliable products. where would the DVD/CD shops go? Who would write and defend warranties and guarantees? What a frightening thought 2010 has for the island that does not exist.
