I'm planning some (free) historic walks in the Walled City of Famagusta (January/February), but I need to know if there's enough interest for more than one walk. I guarantee that you will see and understand more about Famagusta's history than you can imagine! Let me know if you are interested as soon as possible (no bookings for dates yet, just interest!). Mail me at Hans Doeleman (Medieval Cyprus Fellowship) mcf.trnc@gmail.com .

Hans, we were with you on your walk yesterday and would love to go on the Famagusta walk. If you can get something arranged in January, we'll have two places please.

In case you fear the difficulty of the "Famagusta Walk": no climbing whatsoever. 95% of the walk is on tarmaced (tarmacked..? ) roads and streets. I'm designing now one short walk (2 hours, with one coffee stop) and a complete walk (4-5 hours, two coffee stops and one stop for lunch). I think Sundays will be the best days to do the walks. If you have any suggestions or questions, mail me: mcf.trnc@gmail.com .

Thank you for your interest in the planned Famagusta Walks in this thread - but I only accept reservations via email to mcf.trnc@gmail.com ! It's the only way I can tell all of you at the same time about the forthcoming events, cancellations because of an emergency or bad weather etc. P.S. Your privacy will be guaranteed - your email address will *not* be used for any other purpose than sending you information about forthcoming "Medieval Cyprus Fellowship" events. - Hans Doeleman
