| A flight from Dublin which landed at 9.a.m. slid on ice while taxiing to the terminal building. Fortunately no-one was injured and the runway has been re-opened. Think it was a Ryanair flight. |

| Runways were de-iced but more ice formed in the extreme conditions. Lucky it was not worse. My neighbour works for Ryanair at Prestwick and he went off this am. after digging his car out of snow and ice! Even Prestwick was closed for a short while earlier, and that is very unusual as being coastal it stays open when Glas/Edin. have to close. |
