What I would choose is that my OH and I could walk from Lapta sea side up to the village and onward to Fastfood for Kebab and ice cold Effes. Why? Because walking all the way we deserve it and believe me it has become a ritual for us.

Chris, if we were there, Fastfood kebabs and cold Effes would do just fine for us. 2 minute walk around the corner! J

Irene, so sorry for mistake. I am obviously getting just too excited about the "Big Day" (not). Having said that, we have obviously got some old lady 'psychic' link. We are not back again until June, but would be great to meet up. I think Chris would vouch for us that we are actually OK. Please e-mail in the New Year - will look forward to it. Meanwhile, I hope very much that 2010 goes well for you (I'm sure you know what I mean ) J x

Well being on my own in this big Villa it seemed silly buying a goose or Turkey so I'm having steak and chips and trying a supposedly good bottle of Turkish red wine. Happy Crimbo! Sunny and clear here for the day and it looks like the white Xmas gamblers have won in the UK.

Cheers Smithy and I reckon we're lucky but I do feel for those who are lonely and on their own as it can be a sad day for many.
