flight booking error

booked some flights to ercan with pegasus yesterday all names and dates of birth correct but made my mother inlaw a mr instead of a mrs 1.has anybody else made this mistake before 2. is it worth me doing anything about it ?

Did same thing a few weeks ago, sent email but no reply so phoned call centre and they ammended the booking straight away and sent confirmation email.

You need to get this sorted asap.

1. Most airlines do not allow a name change, so you would have to cancel and book a new ticked at whatever the cost.

2. With the heightened security at airports, you'll probably find a "Mrs" won't be allowed to travel on a "Mr" ticket.



By acting now, you should be able to prove it was an error, rather than a change of traveler. As you booked online, however, they may see the error as yours for not checking carefully enough, and any change will be discretional. pegasus, though, are not unreasonable.

Just noticed I have my sons partner down as Mrs instead of Miss do you think I will need to change that as well?



Actually just checked my passport and it doesn't say married or single Miss or Mrs so probably make no difference.

As long as the name on the passport is the same as the ticket, you'll have no problem. My son has to be aware of this all the time. He travels a lot, and his professional name is different to his actual name, so he has to make sure his tickets tie up with his pp.

Until a couple of years ago, his pp showed both names, but they changed the regulations and no longer do it.

sorted this today Pegasus were very helpful and e mailed me a new confirmation all completly free of charge, it just eases your mind !
