Letam have an MRI scanner - they are very good and highly professional. Prices depend on what area you need the scan. Their place for this is opposite the State Hospital in Lefkosa.

Hi H&NComptuers, Went to Letam in Girne, they only do ultrasound scans there. They then phoned Lefkosa branch, and made an appointment for later today. Drove down, only 20 minutes, got MRI scan done, with report on scan due in two days. 300 tl for the scan Thanks' to all for for your helpful advice. Mr & Mrs Navek

Hey Kevan, aww...I thought they may have the MRI scans there too, seeing as it's the same Letam as Lefkosa. I did go there for an ultrasound though hehe. At least you tried your luck, never know unless you go there...thought it could have saved you a journey!

A friend is in Medikent hospital today for a knee op following an MRI scan, cost 2500 GBP. Another friend had a knee op at Cyprus Life in February without the MRI and the cost was the same. Phone Medikent Hospital explain what it is you need and they will give you a price. 0392 680 8080 Chris

Tinker, Take your MRI scans to Dr Can Çobanoğlu in Lefkosa. He is a very well respected Orthopaedic surgeon and first of all he will assess whether an operation is necessary.. he often says not. Unlike some doctors his first reaction to a problem is not to recommend surgery. His surgery is behind the Lemar that is in the road straight-over at the second roundabout if coming from Metehan crossing. i.e. Left at the roundabout if coming from Girne towards Metehan as you go through Ortaköy. Address:- Kitapçı Lütfi Bey Sokç No 17 Ortaköy-Lefkosa Tel 0392 223 4800/223 4232 email: drcan@kibris.net Web: http://www.arsarthro.com.tr
