Hi, thinking of starting up a car boot near Tatlisu, can you just start one up or do you have to get permission from anyone.

Have sorted out a venue.

Also anyone out there who would be interested in having stalls? thinking of charging 10tl for stalls with the money going to Tatlisu School.

ANY comments please

Brilliant idea, you can sign me up for a stall Sorry I can't help you with the nitty gritty of setting it all up but the standard rate per table seems to be 10TL. I may know someone who can help so I'll see whatI can do.

hello peeps

there used to be one at esentepe at the hotel about 3 years ago and it was well enough attended by sellers but there was one or two stallholders that said there wasent enough people buying, the people that made the pies and sausage rolls came out from girne i believe and there stuff was delicioooous, i do miss that one, 10 tl isnt much but at this time of year is there enough heads around to make it pay, me personaly i doubt it by what happened at new year with places cancelling for not enough interest, but good luck Japeal, easter would be a good time to start imho.

HI all,

Think new cancellations were mainly due to weather and forecasts, going back to uk for 1 week early feb so looking at starting around 27th will post more on return. Those who currently run weekend boot sales, do you need permissions from Muhktars or anyone?

I did a few at Esentepe Villa Hotel a couple of years ago - they were well attended at Easter time but not really at other times. You need to get some stalls who will come week in week out to get it established. I was just selling stuff surplus to my requirements so wouldn't be a regular.
