| Can anyone please advise me of the cost for renewal of a UK passport and delivery time from date of application via the British Consulate in Nicosia. The recorded message does not provide this information.

| Hi Baldy,
If you take your old passport along with 145 euros your pics signed on the back by a minister/policeman etc who has known you for a while you will normally get it back in 10 working days |

| I went there Monday morning, cost is 143 Euros (must paid in Euros), was advised is normally 10 working days but they are getting them through in 7. If you need your old passport in meantime they will take a photocopy for process procedure and let you keep the passport which they will then cancel when you collect the new one.
do remember to follow the instructions on application form about keeping all writing inside the boxes and not overlapping on to yellow lines.
When you complete the space which says which country you are in when signing put Cyprus. |

| Went today - still 143 Euros, told that it could be back as soon as 6 working days. Don't forget to hold on to your old passport if it has been referred to on any legal documents such as a property contract, you may need to produce it in the future. |
