According to the latest edition of Cyprus today!!!

There is going to be a power cut tomorrow between 10am-4pm in Lapta, Karaoglanoglu & Alsancak while kib-tek carry out maintenance to its fault finding system.

They must be practicing in Karsiyaka today then. My electric went off an hour ago just as I was settling in to watch a bit of telly. Very annoying and it's been happening a lot recently.

Not only happening quite a lot but when it comes back on it can blow your telly out..as it did mine. Arcelik took 3 weeks to get back to me but I had it fixed down the road in 3 Lapta area in 3 days. Had to hassle them daily to get it done that quick.

I do have anti surge plugs but also switch it off at the wall when the electricity goes off. It's back on now. Must have been some sort of maintenance as it was off for exactly an hour.
