Is Heathrow Airport open?

Hi Guys



I have a friend flying back to the UK on Monday morning from Ercan to Heathrow, either with CTA or Turkish airlines.



I have been trying to look through the internet to find any info as to whether or not Heathrow is open or what delays may be incurred but can't find the info I need. I know Heathrow is open but only 2 runways.



Does anyone know whether these airlines are still flying in to Heathrow or what delays etc are involved?



Any help greatly appreciated.

Heathrow is open and operating pretty much normally. However, the forecast is for a lot of snow tomorrow and tomorrow night across eastern england and temperatures remaining well below zero. You will need to keep checking....

Heathrow is clean as far as snow etc on the tarmac is concerned but it is definately not back to normal.Still mass cancellations in effect and severe delays for de icing due to the frost.As Perry said you'll have to keep checking after tomorrows snow,but I would anticipate delays Monday,doubt whether the flight will be cancelled though,as its a bit of a niche flight.

I was coming back through Heathrow but decided to stay here and brave this cold weather out, at least I managed to drive my car today and I don't feel housebound now thank god.
