visit https://my-private-network.co.uk/

sign up for £5.00 a month, and you can use BBC iPlayer

You can also use other free UK TV-over-internet sites, such as http://www.zattoo.com & http://www.tvcatchup.com/ - the latter is a bit of a misnomer, it lets you watch live TV on a variety of devices (including PC) but not download to watch later as you might expect

BBC iPlayer does of course let you download, the programme content is protected by a Digital Rights Management system, so that you have to watch it within a specified timescale, and you cannot 'burn' it to DVD

If you can actually get 'live video' out of your pc, then you can record the programmes on a conventional TV DVD recorder, or possibly on your pc itself if you have some 'PVR' (personal video recorder) software

You will need a minimum of 1Meg internet connection speed to watch live TV, 2Meg would be much better, but you can download using a slower connection, it just takes longer

No because it's sending you direct to the bbc/itv player so it's just the same as going direct to their site which still has the issue of a non uk ip address

i have my-private-netwrk.co.uk set up but TVcatchup and zattoo still thinks i'm in turkey. If I go directly to BBC/ITV websites they work fine.

OK. guys - some outta date info here - sorry :(

zatto doesn't show BBC any more and MAY BE not ITV :(

tvcatchup has blocked all known VPNs - it won't work outside the UK :(

it is getting much hard to watch UK ( live) TV outside the UK

If you wish to use iplayer you can have a free play with MY UK VPN..

Soon I will offer a service where you can watch UK TV using YOUR very own receiver in the UK.. none of this illegal crap - fully legal - incl UK TV licence - for a bit extra you'll be able to record series and watch them when you like

It works now, but I want to REALLY test the system for another couple of weeks
