I started this thread a "little toungue in cheek", but some have taken it as a serious post.

My latest "sarcastic" NY resolution is for the marina to be opened ASAP.



Do you get the drift.



You could add something like the beaches will be free this year, or something as equally UNLIKELY, such as: Lawyers will act in the best interest of the client, not the developer/builder/estate agent.

My latest TRNC resolution. All the unfinished shops will be finished by reputable builders and they will be immediately occupied by all the graduates that will have finished their business studies courses. They will sell a variety of products inc items for the DIY market, commonly known as a "Yapi" market. Alternative businesses will involve some bars for the ex-pat market, another curry house within 500 metres of my house, that will make 5! Finally, there will be no Thai/Vietnamese/Chinese restaurants within 6 miles of Alsancak. Even though a local world-famous half Italian/half Welsh award-winning Masterchef is more than capable of cooking the above cuisine. So obviously there is no demand.
